Plate published by l'Estampe moderne and described in the Bibliographie de la France (Stamp: 5 June 1925, n°1558: M. Brouet, 4 rue Camille Tahan, Les Ebénistes; 1st state at 15 on Hollande at 500 fr; edition at 75 proofs on Hollande at 400 fr). The plate was acquired by the Chalcographie in 1932 (inv. no. 7186). The composition illuminated by the arched window in the background is close to the much earlier Luthier (2) (Ba 39).
